Bitumen World is a leading and reputable contracting company based in Zimbabwe. Ever since we opened for business, we’ve taken a comprehensive approach to project management, providing our clients with more than bituminous products, hot asphalt mix and road rehabilitation. We are in the business of infrastructure development, road safety, creating a convenient commute and ensuring an enjoyable journey for all road users.
Bitumen World (Pvt) Ltd was incorporated in Bulawayo in July of 2012 and opened its doors for business in Harare on the 1st of September 2012.
INTRODUCTION
From humble beginnings, the company has evolved into a leading Civil Engineering Construction business in Zimbabwe. Whilst specialising in the construction of roads and related structures, Bitumen World has over the course of its existence and in response to Customer demand progressively developed capabilities in almost all aspects of civil, building and bulk earth works and mining support services. Bitumen World’s ability to diversify and grow its activities has been made possible through visionary and strategic planning by The Board and the ability of the Company’s highly qualified and vastly experienced Management Team and Personnel working at all levels throughout the organization and their dedication to the delivery of a consistently high quality service to Bitumen World’s precious Customers.

LATEST BULLETIN
Issue No 3 | 2026
First launched in 2018, the Bitumen World Bulletin documents the progress, projects, and milestones achieved across the Bitumen World group. Until recently, the Bulletin was produced for internal and limited distribution.
With the release of Issue 4, 2025, the Bulletin is being made publicly available for the first time, reflecting our commitment to transparency and open engagement with clients, partners, and the wider public.
Published quarterly, the Bulletin provides insight into ongoing and completed projects, operational highlights, and the people behind our construction and mining activities. It offers a clear view of the standards, expertise, and dedication that underpin delivery across Bitumen World.
As part of this public launch, we are establishing a digital Bulletin archive. Past editions, dating back to 2018, will be progressively published on our website, creating a comprehensive and accessible record of our journey and growth over time.
